- I myself had to set the "Disable TI negotiation" jumper on my IBM 540
- MB HD, which means that handshaking is disabled which isn't needed
- when you use asynchronous transfer. I made the experience that
- synchronous transfer doesn't change performance (AFAIK) much with my
- Cyberstrom 060, so why not using asynchronous transfers ?
