  24. - Have you enabled the termination power jumper on the controller ? You
  25.   don't have any internal devices, so it should be set, if I
  26.   understand the docs correctly.

  28. - Have you disabled the 1-2 jumper on the external SCSI connector
  29.   board ? The docs are not clear about it, but I think is must be
  30.   unset when you don't have internal devices.

  32. - Have you enabled the 2-3 jumper on the external SCSI connector ?
  33.   It must be set if you have external devices.

  35. Try this along with switching the jumper for synchronous transfer.

  37. I myself had to set the "Disable TI negotiation" jumper on my IBM 540
  38. MB HD, which means that handshaking is disabled which isn't needed
  39. when you use asynchronous transfer. I made the experience that
  40. synchronous transfer doesn't change performance (AFAIK) much with my
  41. Cyberstrom 060, so why not using asynchronous transfers ?
